Legendary caricature artist Al Hirshfeld drew until his death in 2003 at the age of ninety-nine from the top floor of his studio in Manhattan on East 95th Street, sitting in a barber chair. For eight years his studio remained untouched until recently, when his widow needed to sell the studio.
